The
SSI program provides cash assistance to individuals who have limited
income and resources and are either age 65 or older. Both State and
Federal agencies administer SSI Supplements in New York.
Also,
some States provide a special supplement for residential or home care
if you live in a residential group home, live in a care home
requiring supervision, or live in an assisted living facility.
