Meet the Experts: Eudora Lowery Carter

Eudora Lowery Carter
Diabetes Educator and Community Liaison
Center for MultiCultural Health

Ms. Eudora Lowery Carter, Project Coordinator, has more than ten years of experience in conducting community outreach for national and local health programs. For over two years, Ms. Carter has served as Project Coordinator for REACH 2010 and has conducted diabetes education classes, support groups and self-management classes for African Americans in Seattle-King County.

As Project Coordinator, she serves on the Washington State Diabetes Network (WSDN), participated in the past two WSDN Annual Meetings. She is a Master Trainer for the Chronic Disease Self-Management Program. Prior to joining CMCH, Ms. Carter served as the Rare Donor Program Representative for Puget Sound Blood Center’s Bone Marrow Donor Registry Program.

Eudora Lowery Carter is featured in Art of Aging Episode 3 in the diabetes section.
